Hello Readers !

The Mangoville Chronicles as a project was started on fools day – April 1, 2022 and the first article was published on April 7, 2022. The magazine takes inspiration from various comics such as Dilbert, Garfield, Pearls Before Swine and Peanuts, as well as animated shows such as Simpsons, South Park and closer home – Jaspal Bhatt’s flop show.

I had always felt that there was a vacuum in terms of such content in India and therefore decided to plunge head first into it with this magazine, leaving aside all my other career aspirations. This magazine is a combination of my multiple alter egos and narrated through my worldview. At heart I am a down to earth, sympathetic person who doesn’t take the world too seriously. If a situation provides opportunity for satire, sarcasm or comedy, I seize it.

So enjoy the journey through the eyes of various ”aam (mango) people” of Mangoville. If you wish to see particular kinds of people being lampooned, or certain situations being dramatised in our typical style, please write to me and I will try to accommodate it.
